What Is Yamaha SILENT Piano™?
When the SILENT Piano™ function is activated, the hammers no longer strike the strings. Instead, a highly sophisticated sensor system captures every movement of the keys and pedals and sends this data to the digital tone module.
This allows you to play a real acoustic grand piano through headphones, day or night, without disturbing others or being disturbed yourself. Yamaha’s silencing system is widely regarded as unsurpassed, offering true 24-hour practice alongside a wide range of digital features, including recording, multiple voices and smart device connectivity.
